This guide explains how to configure whether the products suggested for cross-selling should be automatically chosen based on the customer's cart or manually defined.
Procedure
1. Access the Checkout configuration you want to modify.
2. Navigate to the Cross-selling section (usually the third tab of the configuration module).
3. Make sure the Enable cross-selling option is active.
4. Locate the Product source field.
5. Select one of the following options from the dropdown menu:
- Inherit from products in cart: The system will automatically suggest cross-selling products based on items already present in the customer's main cart.
- Select manually: Allows you to define a fixed list of products to display for cross-selling.
6. If you chose Select manually:
- A section titled Cart will automatically appear below.
- Use the text area within this section to enter the products you want to suggest as cross-selling.
7. Once configuration is complete, proceed to save the module.
