How to enable the cross-selling feature (One Time Offer)

Cross-selling (also called One Time Offer or OTO) allows you to offer additional or complementary products to your customers during the checkout process.

Procedure

1. Access the Checkout management section and open the Checkout you want to modify.

2. Navigate to the step titled Cross-selling (usually the last step before "Pages").

3. In the enablement section, check the box next to Enable cross-selling.

Once enabled, configuration options will appear:

4. In the Products to show field, enter the maximum number of products you want to display in the OTO offer (the default value is 3).

5. In the Product source field, select how products should be chosen for cross-selling:

  • Inherit from products in cart: The OTO products will be automatically selected based on the products currently in the user's main cart.
  • Select manually: You will need to specify exactly which products to include in the OTO offer.

6. In the Quantity selection section, if you want users not to be able to change the quantity of the OTO product, check the box Disable quantity selection.

7. In the Invitation message field, enter the text that will appear above the OTO products to encourage purchase.

8. If at step 5 you selected Select manually, a Cart section will appear.

9. Within this section, use the cart management tool to add specific products you want to offer as One Time Offers.

Saving

10. After completing your changes, click the button to save the Checkout (usually Save changes).
