Description: This tool allows you to create and manage reusable content elements (texts, images, codes) that can be inserted in different areas of the website or on specific pages.
What is it for? (Practical examples)
Use Global Content Blocks to centralize the management of elements that need to appear in multiple places on your site, ensuring consistency and ease of updating.
- Call to Action (CTA) Management: Create a promotional banner or call to action that can be placed on different pages without rewriting the content each time.
- Footer or Header Elements: Define standardized content (such as addresses, opening hours, or social links) displayed uniformly across the entire site.
- Temporary Notices: Quickly publish important alerts (e.g., maintenance, limited-time offers) and specify exactly on which pages they should appear.
Main Features
- Centralized Creation and Editing: Manage all blocks from a single list, displaying the ID, Title, and last modified date.
- Integrated Visual Editor: The content of each block is created and edited using the visual editor (Visual Builder), allowing you to easily structure complex layouts.
- Block Type: Assign a category (Type) to each block to organize them and manage their behavior.
- Advanced Display Rules: Precisely define where and how the block should appear on the website.
How to configure
When creating or editing a block, you will need to fill in the main fields and, if necessary, define advanced display options.
Main Fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Global block title | The internal name of the block, useful for identifying it in the list. |
| Type | The category to which the block belongs. Selecting a type other than 'Default' activates advanced display options. |
| Content | The actual content of the block, editable through the visual editor. |
Display Options (Advanced Options)
These settings determine the block’s behavior on the website.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Display automatically | Determines whether the block should be automatically inserted by the system (Yes) or manually called (No) via code or integration. |
| Display order | A numeric value establishing the display priority of the block relative to other blocks that might appear in the same position. |
| Show ONLY on these pages | Enter a list of links (URLs) of pages where the block must be displayed. If empty, the block can appear anywhere unless excluded. |
| Do NOT show on these pages | Enter a list of links (URLs) of pages where the block must never be displayed. |
Automatic Integrations
Smart Link Selection
When setting display limits (pages to include or exclude), the system provides an updated list of links present on your website. This list is automatically generated based on the sitemap to ensure you can select valid and up-to-date URLs.
Visual Content Editor
The "Content" field is directly connected to Framework360's visual building system, allowing you to create complex and responsive layouts for your blocks just like you would with a standard page.
