The slug (URL) is the unique web address of your page. Modifying it is important both for search engine optimization (SEO) and to maintain a clear navigation structure.
Procedure: Insert or modify the page Slug (URL)
1. Open the page you want to edit.
2. In the main section, locate the field labeled Slug*.
3. Enter or manually modify the slug text.
- Note: If the field is empty, the system automatically generates the slug based on the content of the Page Title* field.
4. (Optional: If you are creating a child page) Select a page from the Parent Page dropdown menu. The parent page’s slug will be automatically added at the beginning of the current slug.
5. (Optional: Separator modification) If you have selected a parent page, you can specify the separator character in the Slug Divider field:
- Select Default to inherit the divider from the parent page.
- Select Use slash (/) to separate slugs with a slash.
- Select Use dash (-) to separate slugs with a dash.
6. After verifying the final slug, proceed to save the page. Click on the Save button (or equivalent) at the bottom of the wizard.
