Guide: Assigning a Page to a Parent Page
Assigning a page to a parent page is useful for creating a hierarchical structure on your website, defining how pages are related to each other (for example, parent/child).
Procedure
1. Access the page you want to edit.
2. Make sure you are in the Page section (the first step of the editing form).
3. Locate the field labeled Parent Page.
4. Click on the dropdown menu with the placeholder No parent page... and select the page you want to set as the parent.
- If you do not want to assign a parent, make sure the None option is selected.
5. If you have selected a parent page, the Slug Divider field will appear. This field defines the character that separates the slug of the parent page from that of the child page in the URL. Choose between:
- Default: Inherits the setting from the parent page.
- Use slash (/)
- Use dash (-)
6. Once you have completed your changes, proceed to save the form to apply the new hierarchy.
