This guide explains how to apply a time filter (such as registration date or payment date) to display data related to a specific period within your report.
This operation is performed in the Report configuration panel (Sidebar on the left).
Procedure for Filtering by Date Range
1. Access the Filters section
1. Make sure you are in the Report configuration view (the sidebar on the left shows sections Columns / Dimensions, Metrics (Values), etc.).
2. Scroll down to the section titled Filters.
3. Click on the Add icon (<i class="fa fa-plus"></i> or <i class="fa fa-pencil"></i>) located at the top right corner of the Filters section.
2. Select the Date field
The Select fields side panel will open.
1. Use the search bar or scroll through the list to find the date field you want to filter (for example: Registration Date, Payment Date, Email Sent Date).
2. Check the checkbox next to the name of the date field.
3. Click the Confirm button at the bottom of the panel.
3. Configure the date range
After confirming your selection, a dialog window will open to configure the filter.
1. Select the Operator: Click on the operator dropdown menu.
- To filter a specific range (start date and end date), choose the BETWEEN operator.
- Alternatively, you can choose quick options like LAST 30 DAYS, THIS MONTH, LAST 7 DAYS, or THIS YEAR.
2. Define the Value (if necessary):
- If you chose a quick option (e.g.,
LAST 30 DAYS), the Value field will disappear since the period is already defined. - If you chose the BETWEEN operator, click on the text field below the operator. A calendar will open allowing you to select the start and end dates of your desired range.
3. Click on the Save button in the dialog window to apply your filter configuration.
4. View Updated Report
The date filter will be added to the Filters section in the sidebar.
The report will automatically update (there may be a short delay) to show only data that falls within the specified date range.
