define the advanced search conditions for customers

This guide explains how to use the "Advanced Conditions" filter available within the Customer Reports section. This feature allows you to build complex filters based on specific logical rules.

Context: This procedure applies when viewing a customer-related report and you want to refine the displayed data.

Step-by-Step Procedure

1. Access Filters:

If not already visible, expand the panel titled Filters and Sorting.

2. Enable Advanced Conditions:

Within the filters panel, locate the section labeled Advanced Conditions.

  • Check the box next to the option Use advanced conditions.

3. Define Search Conditions:

Once the box is checked, a new field labeled Search Conditions will appear.

  • Click on the Search Conditions input field. This will open the Query Builder interface.

4. Build the Query:

Use the Query Builder interface to define the desired filtering rules.

  • Select fields, operators (e.g., Is equal to, Contains, Is greater than) and values to construct the logical condition (e.g., City Is equal to Rome AND Gender Is equal to Male).

5. Apply the Filter:

After defining the conditions in the Query Builder, confirm your selection (usually by pressing a "Save" or "Confirm" button within the Query Builder itself).

6. View Results:

The system will immediately apply the defined advanced conditions and update the display of the underlying report.

> Note: To disable the advanced filter, simply uncheck the box Use advanced conditions. The Search Conditions field will be hidden and previously set filters will be removed.
