apply a filter for a specific user

This guide explains how to apply a filter to display data related to a single user within a Report.

Note: This feature is available only in Reports that include the "User" dimension in their default filters (for example, the User Report).


Procedure to Apply the User Filter

1. Access the Report:

  • From the navigation sidebar, select the saved Report or data source you want to analyze (for example, under the Saved Reports or New Report section).

2. Locate the Filters Section:

  • Once the Report is loaded, scroll down until you find the panel titled Filters and sorting.

3. Apply the User Filter:

  • Inside the panel, look for the label User.
  • Click on the dropdown menu associated with this label.
  • Select the name of the specific user whose data you want to view. If you want to view all users, leave the default option All selected.

4. Automatic Update:

  • After selecting the desired user, the system will automatically update the Report and charts to show only data associated with that user.

5. Save Changes (Optional):

  • If you want to save the Report with this filter applied for future use, click on the Save button (floppy disk icon) located in the main header.
