apply a language filter

This guide explains how to apply a language-based filter within the configuration interface of a Report.

Make sure you have selected or created a new Report before proceeding.

Applying a Language Filter

1. Access the Report Configuration:

Ensure that the sidebar is set to configuration mode (if you are editing an existing Report or have just loaded a Source).

2. Open the Filter Selection:

In the Filtri section of the sidebar, click on the Add icon (<i class="fa fa-plus"></i> or <i class="fa fa-pencil"></i>). The sidebar will change view showing the list of available fields (title: Seleziona campi).

3. Select the Language Field:

  • Use the search bar (Cerca campo...) if necessary, or scroll through the list.
  • Locate and check the box next to the field labeled Lingua.

4. Confirm Field Selection:

Click on the Conferma button at the bottom of the sidebar.

5. Configure the Filter (Popup):

A dialog window (popup) will appear to define details for the Lingua filter.

  • Operator: Select the desired operator (usually = to search for a specific language).
  • Value: Enter the code or name of the language you want to filter by, or leave empty if the operator does not require a specific value.
  • Click on the Salva button in the dialog window to apply the configuration.

6. Update the Report:

Once configured and saved, the Report will automatically update to show data related to the selected language.

The Lingua filter will now appear under the Filtri section in the sidebar, where you can modify it by clicking on it or remove it by clicking on the removal icon (<i class="fa fa-times"></i>). Remember to save your Report by clicking on Salva to make changes permanent.
