This guide explains how to link the fields of a contact form (Form) to the required fields for subscribing to a newsletter, ensuring that the collected data is saved correctly.
Newsletter Field Association Procedure
To associate your form fields with subscription data, you need to work within the Actions section of the Form Editor.
1. Access the Actions Section
1. Open the form you want to modify.
2. Navigate to the Actions tab (the second step of the editing wizard).
2. Enable the "Newsletter Subscription" Action
1. Locate the Newsletter Subscription action box.
2. If the action is not active, click on the Activate button inside the box.
3. Once activated, the box will expand showing configuration options.
3. Map Required and Optional Fields
Within the "Newsletter Subscription" action configuration, you will find several dropdown menus. For each one, select the form field that contains the corresponding data.

| Cognome | Select the form field containing the user's last name. |
| Email Iscrizione* | Required Field. Select the form field of type "Email" that contains the user's email address. |
| Checkbox Autorizzazione Iscrizione | Select a form field of type "Acceptance checkbox" that the user must tick to give consent for subscription. |
4. Manage Subscription Lists
At the bottom of the configuration, you can define which marketing lists the user will be subscribed to:
1. Automatic list:
- Keep checked the box
Iscrivi a lista 'Tramite form <b class="form-name"></b>'if you want an automatic list created with the form's name and have users subscribed to it.
2. Static lists:
- Use this menu to select one or more pre-existing marketing lists to which users should be permanently subscribed.
- If you need to create a new list, you can click on the Create new link.
3. Dynamic lists:
- Use this menu to select a form field (e.g., multiple choice or select) whose values correspond to marketing list IDs. The user will be subscribed only to lists selected via that field.
4. Double Opt-In:
- Check
Ignore any 'Double Opt-In'if you want subscriptions to happen immediately, bypassing email confirmation requests (Double Opt-In), if enabled in system general settings.
5. Save Changes
1. Once all associations and list settings are completed, proceed with saving the form.
2. Click on the save button to apply changes effectively.
