This guide will show you how to configure the "Tags" action within a Form to automatically assign tags to customers who complete the submission.
Guide: Assigning static or dynamic tags to the customer (Tags Action)
Important:
To correctly assign the tag, it is also necessary to enable the registration of the customer record through the 'Register customer' or 'Newsletter Subscription' action.
Procedure
1. Access the Actions section
In the Form editing panel, click on the tab named Actions.
2. Activate the Tags action
Locate the box related to the tag assignment action (often identified as "Tags") and click on the Activate button to enable it.
3. Configure static Tags
Within the content of the Tags action, look for the field labeled Static tags.
- Click on the field and select one or more existing tags from the list.
- These tags will be assigned to all customers who successfully submit the Form.
4. Configure dynamic Tags
Look for the field labeled Dynamic tags.
- This field allows you to link tag assignment to the value entered by the user in a specific Form field (for example, a multiple-choice or single-choice field).
- Select the desired Form field. The assigned tags will correspond to the value selected or entered by the user.
5. Save changes
Once configuration is complete, make sure to save the Form to apply the settings.
