Why do it:
This procedure allows you to upload a new file into the system or replace an existing file (for example, an updated version of a document) while keeping the title and slug unchanged.
Procedure
1. Access the file edit or creation screen.
2. Make sure you are in the first section of the form, titled Files.
3. Fill in the required fields:
- Enter the file name in the Titolo file field.
- Enter the unique web address (or leave it to generate automatically) in the Slug field.
4. Locate the box titled Files. Under this title, you may see a list of accepted formats (e.g., .pdf, .zip, .jpg, etc.).
5. Interact with the upload area:
- If no file is present, click inside the area to open your computer's file selection window.
- If a file is already present, click on the existing file to remove it, or click on the upload area to select and upload a new file that will replace it.
- Note: Only one file can be uploaded at a time in this section.
6. Once the desired file appears correctly in the upload area, make sure all other form data is correct (for example, access restrictions in the Limitazioni section).
7. Click on the save button (usually Salva or Completa) to apply changes and upload the file to the server.
