This guide explains how to access and modify the settings and structure of a custom checkout form that has already been created.
Procedure
1. Access the section listing your custom checkouts.
2. In the table, locate the checkout you want to edit by referring to its ID and Title.
3. Click on the row corresponding to the checkout to open the editing screen.
The editing screen is divided into four main sections (tabs) you can navigate: Content, Cart, Cross-selling, and Pages.
1. Content Section
This section manages general settings, form fields, and payment methods.
General Settings
1. Edit the Checkout Name in the appropriate text field.
2. If necessary, set the Minimum Amount that must be reached in the cart for this checkout to be usable.
Fields to Show
Here you can configure which sections and fields will appear in the checkout form.
1. For each section (e.g., Shipping Data, Billing Data), use the checkbox at the top right corner to enable or disable the entire section.
2. Within each section, you will see individual fields:
- Use the main checkbox next to the field name to enable or disable it in the checkout.
- If the field is not already mandatory by default, you can check the Required Field box to make it so.
- To rename a field, click on the field title (for example, First Name or Last Name). A text field will appear where you can enter your custom Field Name.
Section Settings
At the bottom of each section, in the Settings subsection, you can add additional content:
1. To add explanatory text before the fields, check the Insert custom message box (under the label Custom message).
- Selecting this option will open a text editor where you can enter your Custom Message.
2. To add a custom checkbox (for example, for accepting terms and conditions), check the Insert custom checkbox box (under the label Custom checkbox).
- Selecting this option will open a text editor where you can enter your Checkbox Text.
Payment Methods
1. In the Payment Methods subsection, check or uncheck the checkboxes next to each method to enable or disable that specific payment method for this checkout.
2. Cart Section
This section defines the source of products that will be included in the cart.
1. Under the label Product Source, select:
- Take from cart: The checkout will use products that the user has added to the standard cart.
- Select manually: The checkout will ignore the standard cart and use only manually defined products.
2. If you chose Select manually, use the editor in the Products in Cart section to define which products to include.
3. Cross-selling Section
This section allows you to configure an additional offer (One-Time Offer, OTO) to show during checkout.
1. Check the box Enable cross-selling to activate this feature.
2. If enabled, configure these options:
- Products to display: Enter a number defining how many OTO products will be shown.
- Product Source: Choose whether to Inherit from products in cart (use related products already present) or Select manually.
- Quantity selection: Check Disable quantity selection if you do not want users to change quantities of OTO products.
- Invitation message: Enter text that will appear above the OTO offer.
3. If you selected Select manually for product source, use the editor in the Cart section to define OTO products.
4. Pages Section
1. In this section, you can view and edit pages linked to this checkout (e.g., Thank You page).
5. Save Changes
1. Once all modifications are complete across all sections, proceed to the last step of the wizard.
2. Click on Save changes (or final wizard action) to apply changes to your custom checkout.
