This guide explains how to set a specific field within the checkout form as mandatory for the end user.
Procedure
1. Access the modification of the Checkout you want to configure.
2. Once the form is open, make sure you are in the first step (tab), titled Content.
3. Scroll down until you find the box titled Fields to display.
4. Within this section, locate the desired Checkout Section (for example, Billing Data).
5. Inside the section, you will find the list of available fields (identified by their title, such as Checkout Name or Minimum Amount).
6. To make a field mandatory, click on the smaller checkbox next to the field title. This checkbox is marked with the tooltip Mandatory Field.
7. Make sure that the main checkbox of the field (the larger one that enables the display of the field itself) is also selected.
8. Once you have completed your changes, click on the button to save. (Depending on the wizard configuration, this might be Next or Save).
