How to manually define products to offer in cross-selling
This procedure allows you to select specific products to show customers as cross-selling suggestions, regardless of the products already in their cart.
Procedure
1. Access the checkout configuration you want to modify.
2. Navigate to the tab titled Cross-selling.
3. In the Cross-selling section, make sure the checkbox next to Enable cross-selling is selected.
4. Locate the Product source field.
5. From the dropdown menu, select the option Select manually.
- Note: If this option is selected, a new configuration area will appear.
6. Scroll down until you find the section titled Cart (inside the oto-cart-container container).
7. Use the cart builder tool (the text area under the Cart heading) to search for and add the products you want to offer in cross-selling.
8. Once the products are defined, proceed to the last step of the configuration wizard and click the button to save changes. (Usually, Save changes or Complete).
