This guide shows you how to define the source of the products that will be suggested to your customers in the cross-selling section (related or additional products) of the checkout.
How to choose the origin of products for cross-selling
1. Access your Checkout configuration and navigate to the Cross-selling tab.
2. Locate the section labeled Product Origin.
3. Click on the dropdown menu and choose one of the following options:
- Inherit from products in cart: The products suggested for cross-selling will be automatically selected based on the products already present in the customer's cart.
- Select manually: Allows you to define a fixed list of products to show for cross-selling.
4. If you chose Select manually, a new section titled Cart will appear. In this section:
- Use the text field to enter or manage the exact list of products you want to suggest for cross-selling.
5. Once you have completed the changes, make sure to save the Checkout configuration (usually by clicking on the Save or Complete button at the end of the wizard).
