To save the changes made to a Global Content Block, follow these steps.
Why save the changes?
Saving the changes is necessary to make all modifications to the content or display options of the block permanent and visible on the website.
Procedure
1. Make sure you have completed all the necessary changes in the block sections. The main fields to check are:
- Global block title
- Type
- Content (this field contains the actual content of the block).
2. If you have modified the display rules, navigate to the Display Options section and check the following fields:
- Display automatically
- Display order
- Under the Limit via link section, check the fields Show ONLY on the following pages and Do NOT show on the following pages.
3. Once you have finished making changes, locate the save button (usually positioned at the top or bottom of the editing screen).
4. Click on the Save (or Save changes) button.
5. Wait for the save confirmation. The system will notify you when the changes have been successfully saved.
