This guide explains how to define for how long (in days, months, or years) the trial period will be active for the package or card being configured.
Procedure
1. Make sure you are in the General section of the edit module.
2. Locate the section "Is the package recurring?" and ensure that the option Enable recurring payment is selected. If it is not selected, the duration options will not be visible.
3. Scroll down until you find the warning box (usually yellow/orange) containing the label Trial period duration.
4. In the first text field under the label Trial period duration, enter the desired numerical value for the trial period.
5. In the adjacent dropdown menu, select the unit of time for the trial period duration:
- Days
- Months
- Years
6. (Optional) If you want to set a cost for the trial period, fill in the Trial price field by entering the amount. Use '0' if the trial period is free.
7. When finished, click on the save button (usually located at the bottom of the page or in the footer of the form) to apply the changes.
