This guide explains how to enter translations for the key elements of an article (title, slug, description, content, and tags) within the platform.
Note: The translation feature is indicated by a small icon (usually a flag or a globe) that appears next to the field label. Clicking on this icon opens a panel to enter texts in the different active languages.
1. Accessing the Edit Section
To start, you need to access the article's edit page:
1. From the main list of articles, locate the article you want to edit.
2. Click on the article to open the edit screen.
2. Translating the Main Fields
The fields that require translation are found under the Generali tab.
2.1 Translating Title and Slug
The Title and Slug (the unique web address of the article) must be translated for each language:
1. Next to the Titolo articolo\* label, locate and click on the translation icon.
2. A panel will open: enter the translated title for each active language.
3. Repeat the process for the Slug\* field by clicking on its associated translation icon and entering the translated slug.
2.2 Translating Description and Content
The short description and full content of the article are located within the Contenuto box:
1. In the Contenuto box, locate the Descrizione field.
2. Click on the translation icon next to the Descrizione label.
3. Enter the translated short description for each language.
4. Just below, locate the Contenuto\* field.
5. Click on the translation icon next to the Contenuto\* label.
6. Enter the fully translated content of the article for each language.
2.3 Translating Tags
Tags help categorize and make the article searchable:
1. In the right column, locate the Tag field.
2. Click on the translation icon next to the Tag label.
3. Enter translated tags (separated by commas) for each active language.
3. Translating SEO Fields
SEO fields (Search Engine Optimization) are located in a separate tab, usually positioned after the Immagini tab.
1. Click on the tab dedicated to SEO settings (the exact name may vary, but it is usually the last tab in the form).
2. Within this tab, you will find fields for SEO Title and SEO Description.
3. For each field, click on its associated translation icon and enter optimized text for each language.
4. Saving Changes
After entering all necessary translations:
1. Scroll down to the bottom of the edit page.
2. Click on the Salva button (or equivalent) to apply and save all translations and changes made to the article.
