Disable (hide) an article from the website

This guide describes two methods to hide a published article, making it invisible to website visitors.

Method 1: Quick Deactivation from the Article List

This is the fastest way to hide an article without accessing the editing screen.

1. Access the section listing all articles on the site.

2. Locate the article you want to hide.

3. In the article's row, look for the actions column (usually the last one on the right).

4. Click the action button labeled: Hide from site.

> Note: If the action was successful, the article's "Status" in the list will change from Active (green label) to Inactive (red label).

Method 2: Deactivation from the Editing Screen

If you are already editing the article, you can use this option to deactivate it.

1. Open the article you want to hide by clicking its title or edit icon.

2. Make sure you are in the General panel (usually the first tab or section).

3. In the sidebar (or among the first options), locate the checkbox labeled: Show on site.

4. Uncheck the Show on site checkbox.

5. Save your changes to the article (usually via a "Save" or "Update" button at the bottom of the page).

The article is now hidden and will no longer be visible on the website.
