This guide explains how to permanently delete a blog post from the system. Deletion is performed from the main article management screen.
Deleting a Blog Post
To delete a post, you need to access the list of articles and use the deletion action associated with the selected row.
1. Access the Article List: Navigate to the control panel section dedicated to managing blog posts (this is the screen that shows the table with fields like Title, Category, Status, etc.).
2. Locate the Post: In the table, find the post you want to delete by using data in columns such as Title or Creation to identify it.
3. Select the Post: Click on the row corresponding to the post you want to delete. The selected row will be highlighted.
- Note: It is possible to select multiple posts simultaneously if you want to perform a bulk deletion.
4. Perform the Delete Action: Locate the delete button or option. This is usually found:
- In the action bar above or below the table.
- In a context menu that appears when right-clicking on the selected row (if supported by the system).
- Click on the Delete button (often represented by a trash can icon).
5. Confirm Deletion: The system will ask for confirmation before proceeding since deletion is a permanent action.
- Confirm your choice to permanently remove the post from the database.
Once confirmed, the post will be removed from the list and will no longer be visible on the site.
