Description: This tool allows you to organize advertising content (Banners) into logical groups and monitor the aggregated performance of these sets.
What is it for? (Practical examples)
Use Banner Groups to optimize the management of your advertising spaces:
- Organization: Group banners based on their position on the website (e.g., "Sidebar Group," "Footer Group") or according to the current advertising campaign.
- Aggregated Monitoring: Get an immediate overview of the performance (views and clicks) of an entire set of ads without analyzing individual banners.
- Planning: Prepare target areas on the site even before uploading individual graphic contents.
Main Features
The module allows managing groups through a summary table and a dedicated editing panel.
- Creation and Editing: Allows defining new groups or modifying the names of existing ones.
- Statistics Summary: The main screen shows for each group:
- The group name.
- The number of banners currently assigned to that group.
- The total Views (how many times the group's banners have been displayed).
- The total Clicks received by the group's banners.
- Data Management: Allows saving and deleting groups that are no longer needed.
How to configure
Configuring a Banner Group is extremely simple and requires entering only one mandatory piece of data.
| Field | Description | Mandatory |
|---|---|---|
| Group Name | The identifying name of the group (e.g., "Summer Ads 2024" or "Homepage Banners"). | Yes |
> Note: The group name is the only data managed directly in this section. Individual banners and their statistics are managed in a separate module and linked to this group.
Automatic Integrations
This module acts as a logical container for your advertising campaigns, automatically interacting with the banner management system.
- Statistics Aggregation: The system calculates total metrics (views and clicks) in real time and automatically by summing data from all banners associated with that group.
- Content Linking: Once created, the group can be selected in the creation or editing module of individual banners to associate them with the desired container.
Key Differences
This tool exclusively manages containers (the Groups). To upload graphic files, define destination links, and manage advanced display settings, you need to use the dedicated module for managing individual Banners.
