This guide explains how to associate a product or subscription plan with a specific channel on your Discord server.
Important Prerequisites:
Before configuring the channel ID, you must ensure that the BOT is properly connected to your Discord server. If you haven't done this yet, look for the Install BOT button in the main configuration area of the plugin and follow the instructions.
Procedure to Configure the Channel ID
The channel ID configuration takes place within the settings of the product or subscription plan that manages access to the Discord channel.
1. Access the Product/Plan: Navigate to the control panel section where you manage your products (E-commerce) or your subscription plans (Membership).
2. Edit: Click to edit the product or plan you want to link to Discord.
3. Open the Discord Tab: Within the product editing screen, find and click on the tab titled Discord Configuration.
4. Enter the Channel ID: Locate the field labeled Discord channel ID. Enter in this field the numeric ID of the Discord channel you want to use for this subscription.
(Note: To obtain the channel ID, you need to enable Developer Mode in your Discord user settings, right-click on the desired channel, and select "Copy ID.")
5. Enter the Role ID (Optional but Recommended): Locate the field labeled subscriber role ID. Enter the numeric ID of the Discord role that users will automatically receive when they purchase this product or plan.
6. Save: Save changes to the product or subscription plan.
Once saved, the system will use the configured channel ID to send invitations to buyers and synchronize their roles.
