Within this guide, we will see how to create a sales order with a payment link to send to our customer who needs to pay us.
First, we access the Sales module from the main menu of Framework360 and click on the top right button Add.
At this point, we could select the customer through the Select customer button if the customer's information is already present within the Customers module, or we could manually enter the customer's data in the Billing Data section and Framework360 will automatically create the customer's record.
Once the data has been entered, we should move inside the tab Cart and go to the option Add to cart to insert the product subject to sale as shown in the figure:
At this point, we could go on to define the product name (e.g., Consulting), the price, any applicable tax, and finally, decide whether the product will be sold as a one-time payment or through a subscription.
Now all that's left is to click on the top right button Save, before proceeding with the save, Framework360 will ask us whether to send an email to the client or not as shown in the figure:
Now we will find ourselves in front of a summary screen where on the right side the payment status and the order status will be highlighted:
Furthermore, scrolling down the summary page, on the right side, we will find ourselves under the heading Payment Link where Framework360 will provide us with a link through which our customer can access to make the payment.
If we wanted to automatically create a quote, a proforma or an invoice upon payment, we could do so by installing one of the following plugins on Framework360:
- Easyfatt
- Fattura24
- Invoices in Cloud
To install a plugin, we would need to go to the Plugins section within the main menu of Framework360, search for the plugin and click on Install Integration.
