Create 301 or 302 redirects for the website pages.

In this article, we will see how to create 301 or 302 redirects on your Framework360 environment.

301 and 302 redirects are, respectively, the notices of permanent transfer or temporary transfer of a web page.

In other words, with the redirect in place, when people enter a certain page of our website they are directly directed to another page of our website.

This could be useful, for example, when we create a new page for a specific topic on our website, but the previous page is indexed on Google. At this point, we could create a redirect from the indexed page on Google to our new page

What will be the result?

People will enter through the link indexed on Google but will automatically be brought to our new page.

Let's get started!

Firstly, we should access the Redirect option from the main menu of Framework360 by following the steps listed below:

Website > Redirect

At this point, we will click on the upper right button Add, and once inside, we will see the following screen:

At this point, we will enter the original URL under the heading Source URL , and under the heading Destination URL , we will add the URL of the landing page.

FRAMEWORK360 also gives us the option to decide whether we want to carry out a Redirect 301 or a Redirect 302 through the entry Type.

With Redirect 301, we tell Google that the old page has been permanently transferred, while with Redirect 302, we inform Google that the old page has been temporarily transferred.

Well now all we have to do is click Save and it's done!
