To define when the coupon will no longer be valid, you need to choose whether to set a duration (e.g., 30 days) or an exact date and time.
Procedure
1. In the Coupon Settings section, locate the Expiration Type field.
2. Click on the dropdown menu and choose one of the following options:
Option 1: A period of time
This option sets the coupon expiration based on a time interval (e.g., 7 days after creation).
1. Select A period of time from the Expiration Type menu.
2. In the Expiration field (the first numeric field that appears), enter the desired numeric value (e.g., 1, 30, 90).
3. In the adjacent field, select the unit of measure for the expiration among:
- Minutes
- Hours
- Days
- Weeks
- Months
- Years
Option 2: A specific date
This option sets the coupon expiration to a fixed date and time.
1. Select A specific date from the Expiration Type menu.
2. In the Enter date field that appears, click to open the date and time picker.
3. Choose the exact date and time when the coupon should expire.
Note: The system will only accept future dates. If you enter a past date, the action will not be saved.
