Add, modify, or delete custom sponsorable sections (Admin)

This guide explains how to configure the custom sections that your users can sponsor through their affiliate code, managing the links and sharing content specific to each section.

Procedure: Managing Sponsorable Sections

1. Access the Sections Settings

1. Log in to the administration panel and go to the Affiliation module settings.

2. Click on the Customer Area tab.

3. Scroll down to the box titled Sponsorable Sections.

2. Enable Section Management

1. In the Sponsorable Sections box, locate the Add sections option.

2. Check the box Enable adding sections.

  • Note: If this option is disabled, the sections below will not be visible to users in the Customer Area.

3. Add a New Section

1. After enabling the option, scroll down until you find the Add tag button.

2. Click on Add tag to create a new configuration block for the section.

4. Configure Section Details

For each added section, fill in the following fields:

Section NameThe name of the section as it will appear to the user (e.g., "Card Section").
Section LinkThe full URL of the page or resource that the user should sponsor. The affiliate code will be automatically appended to this link.
Sharing TitleThe default title to use when the user shares the link (useful for social media).
Sharing ContentThe default description to use when the user shares the link (visible in the sharing window).
Limit Section Visibility(Optional) Use Query Builder to set specific conditions. Only users who meet these conditions will see this sponsorable section in their Customer Area.

5. Edit or Delete a Section

  • Edit: To modify an existing section, simply change the values in the Section Name, Section Link, or Sharing fields within that section’s block.
  • Delete: To remove a section, click on the Delete tag button located at the bottom right corner of that section’s block.

6. Save Changes

1. Once you have completed your changes, make sure to save the plugin’s general settings to apply the sections.
